In 2003 I started studying Geology as well as Law at the University of Tübingen. In the first two years the Geology part was focusing on general subjects such as “General Geology”, “Maths”, “Physics”, “Biology”, “Chemistry” ,etc.. The Law part focused on the BGB AT as well as BGB BT but I took it rather as a peripheral area. After the 2. Semester I stopped studying Law due to the fact that the Geology part would give me a great deal of opportunities regarding my dream of traveling and finishing off my study career abroad. Therefore, I fastened up my motivation as well as the study itself. One semester earlier than the standard period of study suggests,I graduated in 2006 by obtaining the BSc in Geoscience specialized in Sedimentology. The title of the BSc Thesis is called “Facies and Poroperm of Carbonate-Reservoir-Analogues” and was supervised by Prof. Dr. Aigner. This shows already the main focus on Petroleum Geology which would have determined my future path way reading for an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience at Imperial College London.

This MSc program last for one year and was sponsored by the danish oil company DONG. In addition to that, I did my MSc Thesis within that company having been based in Copenhagen.
I have done several field trips to several countries within my study in Tübingen and London and one internship at Gaz de France.
However, right now I am quite delighted had the chance to have graduated from Imperial College. which opened a big door towards a, hopefully, successful career.
