At the age of five I started playing the violin pushed and supervised by my grandfather. Until I became twelve-years-old I played in the school orchestra before I stopped out exercising this wonderful hobby for about three years. Instead I played the piano for about one year.
At the age of 15 I revived the violin and started taking it as a serious hobby. So, I played in two orchestras, in the orchestra of Waldorf school as well as in the orchestra of the high-school Kamp-Lintfort. In addition to that I built a violin as a final project within the Waldorf school schedule which gave me an insight in how a violin works and lives.
Starting the university in 2003 gave me the chance to attend the Academic Orchestra of Tübingen and experience several Tours to U.S.A. (Boston) and Copenhagen (Denmark) as well as to Festivals within Germany. Several different master peaces were performed such as Beethoven-Symphony No. 5, Mozart-”Jupiter” Symphony or Britten-”War Requiem”.
In 2006, after the move to London I began to play in the Sinfonietta of Imperial College of London. That orchestra also gives the opportunities to play advanced peace of music such as Tchaikovsky-Symphony No.5 or Sibelius-Symphony No.1. Another tour to Croatia is planned in June 2007.
